Pumpkin Soup

Pumpkin Soup 

1 onion, chopped
3-4 stalks celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2-3 chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
salt

4 large baking potatoes, chopped
1 large can pumpkin
1/2 C sour cream
1/2 C heavy cream 

In large soup pot, saute onion, celery, and garlic until very tender. 

Add chicken, chili powder, and cayenne; saute

Add potatoes and enough water or chicken broth to cover. 

Simmer until tender. 

Remove from heat.  Add pumpkin, sour cream, and heavy cream. 

Add salt to taste, and adjust seasonings.
